Hi, I’m Afora. I created Afora Beauty because I wanted getting my hair done to feel like something to look forward to, not another exhausting day. I know what it’s like to travel to a salon, wait for your turn, sit for hours, and still have the journey home ahead of you.
Your time is precious, whether you’re working, studying, raising a family, or building something of your own. So I bring the braiding experience to you. In your own space, we can create a luxury hairstyle that feels like you, personalized to your taste, your schedule, and the way you want to feel when you see the finished look.

Before your appointment.
How should I prepare my hair?
- Wash your hair with shampoo before your appointment.
- Use a leave-in conditioner or deep conditioner, if available.
- Detangle your hair thoroughly from the roots to the ends.
- Stretch your hair before the appointment.
- Remove any previous braid extensions before your appointment, unless removal is booked separately.
- Your hair should be fully dry unless otherwise agreed.
- Avoid heavy oils, butters, and excessive product buildup immediately before the service.
Is braiding hair included?
No. Braiding hair is not included in the service price. You can purchase the hair you need directly from Afora Beauty. We will help you choose the right type, colour, and quantity for your style.
Where do you travel?
Afora Beauty provides mobile appointments in Cologne and throughout Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany.
How do I request an appointment?
Send an enquiry through the form or WhatsApp. Availability and appointment details are confirmed directly.
What is the cancellation policy?
Please give at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel your appointment. The €35 deposit is non-refundable if you cancel.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
After you send an enquiry, Afora Beauty will confirm availability and send you an offer for your chosen hairstyle. A €35 deposit is then required to secure your appointment. Your appointment is confirmed after the deposit is received. The €35 will be deducted from the total service price. If you cancel, the deposit is non-refundable. Please make sure you can attend before paying.
What happens if I am late?
Please be ready at the agreed appointment time. There is a 15-minute grace period. If you are more than 15 minutes late, a flat €20 late fee applies. This is a one-time fee, not an hourly charge.
